...will be hard to have as my partner in crime enters its third week in the shop. At this point, I don’t care about the cost, I just want it back. I badly need a 2-post lift, so I can be rid of dealing with dealerships forever.

OMG you can get a 5er with red interior since E28? And that is a really great-looking red, for Christmas, too!

Don’t hate me but hadn’t been a huge fan of E60 so far. This is grounds to reconsider :)

Oh yes, you could order the E60 M5 with an Indianapolis Red interior, it wasn’t extremely popular but I love it, mostly why I bought this car. I didn’t like the E60 at first either, but now I’m convinced that it’s one of the most important and well-styled sedans ever made. Especially in facelifred M5 form.

Hey now SMG is awesome. Actually it’s also causing my problem, potentially. Clutch position sensor might also be the problem.

If you felt a full-throttle S6 upshift in this thing, you’d forget about manual gearboxes.

I drove an F10 M5 with a DCT, yeah it was faster than me shifting myself, but I found myself wishing it was a stick. There’s also something really satisfying about taking it up to 8300 RPM and perfectly grabbing the next gear. I thought about an E60 M5, but I figured that it would be too much of a headache to live with.
